Taking the A-Line.

Back in Blighty after a brief sojourn over to Florida...If you've never done Disney, then I can heartily recommend it! I'll do a full blog on our Florida excusion at some point but for now, colour me impressed!

For now, I want to concentrate on those items that you can and can't live without this week.

You can't live without:

Tank Tops - In a light weight knit, over vests or tees are geek chic of choice! Check out the Burberry number opposite!

A-live lace dresses - Are hitting Hollywood Big Style...word of advice, make sure it's lined!

Cerise - That vivid '80's colour is back and is quickly reclaiming its street cred.

Panama Wicker Hats - You don't need sunshine to wear these, you just need style.

Fab Memories - Are priceless, and are something no-one can ever take away from you!

Live Without -

Animal Print - It's now off-limits for garments although we can make allowances for shoes or accessories.

Patchwork Bermudas - Over the pond, they seem to be gathering an awful lot of momentum...we Brits are far too sensible for that...aren't we?

Gillets - Time to deflate these puffa wannabees and put the sleeveless wonders away til autumn.

Bling - Has recently moved aside for ethnic/boho style jewellry, how very civil of it!

Regret - One life, go do something great with it!

Lets Get Ready To Rumble!

Hi again! I thought it safest to avoid my husband screaming at the referee in the Arsenal Liverpool soccer match and add a few more items to my things you can't live with and things you can't live without lists!

Things you can't live without!

The Casual Cardi - This is a hard one to pull off, but worth the effort, go for relaxed knit, not belted, fitted tapered or shaped. Just hang loose man!

Legs - Are back, so its ok to get them out as long as they've been tended and pimped in prep for their 08 debut.

Different Coloured Lapels - from the rest of the garment, if you want to be "Little Miss Sharpe" lapel it up.

Banana - The colour, not the phallic shaped fruit has real appeal (sorry!) This shade of yellow will put a smile on your face!

High School Musical 3 - If you want your kids to think you're cool, its time to get your head in the game...again!

On to the things you can live without...

Frilly Filly's - The little Bo Peep look has never and will never, be fit for anything other than panto!

Hollywood Double Date Info - Who cares if Posh and Becks pair up with Kate Beckinsdale and hubby. Unless its a mixed tag match at Wrestlemania, we don't want to know.

Wonky Hair - Lopsided, big bubble hair is not hot. E news that had to be an April Fool Joke right?

Favouritism - "Bread" the jean maker has just designed maternity jeans for Angelina after being contacted by her stylist. Hey, what about the rest of the world's women with child?

The Spiderwick Chronicles - The 'trapped nerve in the neck' look I'm rocking right now after visiting this jump-fest of a movie is not one of my best....

Fashion - It's Simply Not Cricket!

Spring is in the air, so I feel like starting on a positive note today!

The things you can't live without!

Belted Spring Jackets - Black is the colour being sported out in Hollywood, simple, clean lines work everytime.

Bright Coloured Shoes - Any block toned shoe style goes this month, to go with our lighter, brighter spring mood.

Halo Hair - You know the kind that has a gentle tousled fliffiness that catches the sunlight - hence halo effect.

Oriental Patterns - Are heading up the print list, mainly on drapey style garments.

Live And Let Live Mentality - Why are there not more people sharing this not so uptight view of the world???

Things you can live without.

Cricket Sweaters - Not sure the pro's that fact that we can't differentiate between them and the general public.

Black Pumps - Are to their own funeral this season, as we are done with secretary chic.

Techno Fashion - In an ironic twist, futuristic garments have had their day!

Tiny Clutch Bags - Surely these are just purses with a superiority complex, and a hefty price tag...nice try!

Drama Chasers - Women who can't exist without drama, be it their own or somebody elses.

Posh, Cheryl and Going Nude!

The Ashley and Cheryl Cole story is dominating the tabloids....they seem to have settled on a theme, that being "Is Ashley Cole Insane?" One element that interested me though was the Victoria Beckham angle on it and specifically the advice Posh gave the former Miss Tweedy of Girls Aloud fame...interested me enough for it to make my "Things you can live without" list anyhow! Seriously, how would having a family with that Arsenal leaving love rat provide a child with a secure upbringing?

Rainbow Coloured Shoes - Also earning my ire this week, reserved for Rainbow Brite methinks, shield your eyes from this glaring fashion faux pas!

Tye Dye - We all got that out of our systems when we were skint fashion students, to go back now eould be regressive!

Embellishments - On garments or accessories are off limits now until next christmas. Save them for the tree.

Irresponsible dog owners - We don't like to see our designer shoes decorated with dog excrement, so pick it up!

With that out of my system, I can concentrate on the items you can't live without!

Pastel Shades - As in sunglasses, will be the ray-bans of choice this summer.

Sling Backs - The shoes you watched your mum traipse around in when you were young and now back, so get raiding her closet.

Going Nude - Not literally, but wearing the new shade for this season is nearly as good as baring sexy flesh!

Tees - Are being sported by models already for the better weather spring brings. Slogan tees of of course tops!

Sunshine - After a recent taster, i could go for the main course!

We've got Paris Hilton, Cheerleaders and Leather Skirts today, you'd be forgiven for thinking that you've stumbled on to a different sort of blog altogether!

Fairytale Fashion - Anything to do with Princesses in fact! Keep your eyes peeled for Queen of Suburbia's take on this trend, coming soon!

Bold Black and White Check - 1950's inspired dresses for spring/summer will have us making our own lemonade, and speaking with a deep Southern drawl.

Cheerleader Chic - For a naughty sporty look...but leave the pom poms at home.

A Golden Glow - Out with the pale and in with the bronzer.

Planning '08 Adventures! - Keep your adrenaline pumping by organising the next big thing!

Plenty you can live without too!

Purple Suede Accessories - Give me blue suede shoes anyday, but the purple i can leave!

Paris Hilton Producing Movies - As in "The Hottie and the Nottie". Her acting career never really took off, so this pushing the boat out a tad.

Leather Skirts - I don't care whether they are fitted or loose, they're just wrong on so many different leathery levels.

Fringes - Time to start growing them out girls...fashion turnaround is fair play.

Resting On Your Laurels - There is no rest for the wicked, so get wicked any which way you can!!

Wrestling With Britney.

I've decided to combine two of the items I think you can live without for my title today...is it just me or does it sound like an Indy band?

What can you live without this week?

Wrestling Boots - As a fashion statement for us ladies...they should get the Smackdown before this look even takes off.

Britney's Airtime - Considering how little she does to entertain in a positive way - she and her dire situation is still being rammed down our throats.

Bracelet Bags - Great idea in principle, lousy in reality. These appendages attached to bangles, look cheap.

Electric Blue Spandex - Seriously, these don't look good on anyone. Not even Kate Moss could work this look.

Charlize Theron - Talented, beautiful, humble and my husband adores her. I'd love to hate her, but I can't!

And the things you can't live without.

Royal Blue Eyeliner - Go. Get. Some.

Flesh Coloured Shoes - Especially heeled ones. Anything that makes your legs look longer is ok by me!

Abstract Print - Anything you look at and don't understand on a garment is cool, simple really.

Sundance Film Festival - Gives credit to some real little movie diamonds.

Heath Ledger - Found dead only 28 years young. This talented actor will be sadly missed and our hearts go out to his two year old daughter.
